Prosecutors to Get Psychologist Notes on Loughner Jul 19th 2012, 21:32 A federal judge will allow federal prosecutors to see a psychologist's personal notes on Tucson shooting rampage suspect Jared Lee Loughner. Prosecutors filed a motion seeking Bureau of Prisons psychologist Dr. Christina Pietz's notes from her latest competency evaluations of Loughner from Feb. 8 to June 7 at a Missouri facility. U.S. District Judge Larry Burns ruled Thursday that Pietz's previous notes had been given to both sides and there is no reason to treat the notes differently now. Burns says pages containing Pietz's notes of conversations with defense counsel will be redacted from copies given to the government. Loughner has pleaded not guilty to 49 charges stemming from the January 2011 shooting that killed six people and wounded former U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and 12 others.
