1. U.S. Ambassador to Libya Killed in Attack
Christopher Stevens. the U.S. ambassador to Libya, was killed after the U.S. consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi was set on fire in an attack by militants. ABC News learned overnight that there were about a dozen employees in the building at the time of the attack.
2. Teachers Strike Enters Day 3, No Deal in Sight
The Chicago Teachers' strike is heading into its third day. The head of the Chicago Teachers' Union said on Tuesday night that the teachers and district are not close to coming to a contract deal. The Chicago Tribune reports that they have only agreed on 6 of the 49 articles in the contract.

3. Zuckerberg: Facebook IPO 'Obviously Disappointing'
Mark Zuckerberg spoke publically on Tuesday for the first time since Facebook's initial public offering saying that the stock's performance has "obviously been disappointing." After Zuckerberg's public comments, Facebook's stock was up more than 4 percent in afterhours trading.
4. Harvard Basketball Co-Captain Withdraws Over Cheating Scandal
Harvard basketball co-captain Kyle Casey has decided to withdraw from the university as a result of his involvement in a cheating scandal at the school, according to the Harvard Crimson. Casey's co-captain has also been implicated in the scandal.
5. Apple Set to Launch iPhone 5
Apple is set to launch the iPhone 5 in San Francisco at 1 p.m. ET today. The new phone is expected to have a larger screen and will run faster.
