1. Names of Former Navy SEALs Killed in Libya Released
The State Department officially released the names of the other two victims killed in the militant attack on the U.S. Embassy in Libya. Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty â€" both former Navy SEALs â€"lost their lives in the attack that also killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and Air Force Veteran Sean Smith.
2. Filmmaker Wrote 'Innocence of Muslims' in Prison
The filmmaker who produced the controversial "Innocence of Muslims" revealed to authorities that he wrote the movie script while he was in federal prison on bank fraud charges. Authorities say Nakoula Basseley Nakoula admitted his role in making the film after dealing with death threats since the movie was released. ABC News has learned that Nakoula told authorities that he and his son produced the film.
3. 911 Dispatchers Waste Valuable Time: Study
An internal Los Angeles Fire Department study obtained by the Los Angeles Times revealed that 911 dispatchers waste valuable time getting callers seeking help to start CPR before sending ambulances to the scene of an emergency. According to the study, dispatchers are required to ask time-consuming questions before giving CPR instructions and dispatching ambulances.
4. Guatemala's Volcan del Fuego Erupting
Guatemala's Volcan del Fuego is erupting, sparking a massive evacuation order for more than 33,000 people. Ash has fallen as far as 50 miles away.
5. Death Valley Now Hottest Place on Earth
Death Valley National Park is now considered the hottest place on Earth, according to the World Meteorological Organization. Record readings at Death Valley during a week of extremely hot weather there showed high temperatures of at least 127 degrees each day.
