A hunting store in Atlanta's suburbs is offering Georgians a chance to win a free gun for voting in the Nov. 6 election.

The raffle is prompting one state senator to complain it violates a ban on providing money or gifts for voting.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/Rj3QiT) Wednesday that Adventure Outdoors owner Jay Wallace defends the promotion.

Eight billboards in the Atlanta area tell people to bring in their Georgia voter sticker for a chance to win a Glock handgun or Browning rifle. The store is in Smyrna in the city's northern suburbs.

Democratic State Sen. Vincent Fort of Atlanta filed a complaint Tuesday with the Secretary of State's office.

Wallace says the raffle is open to all customers and gets people involved in the political process.
