The father-in-law of missing mom Susan Cox Powell has been arrested on charges of voyeurism and child pornography, and his daughter said today she's "not surprised" by her dad's huge stash of illicit pictures of girls and women.
Among the females secretly photographed was his daughter-in-law Susan Powell, prosecutors said.
Jennifer Graves told ABC News that her estranged father, Steve Powell, 61, had problems with pornography for years, and that she's glad he was finally arrested.
"I knew what his character was," she said. "He's had issues in the past with pornography and unfaithfulness in his marriage. I knew that there were problems there, and I'm glad they finally came to the surface and that they arrested him. Hopefully it will prevent him from harming innocence in the future."
Powell was arrested by Pierce County, Wash., sheriff's officers at his home Thursday night after a raid of his house in August turned up discs and tapes with the images, police said.
The youngest girls on the tape were 8 and 10 at the time the pictures were taken and lived near Powell, according to the prosecutors.
Steven Powell is charged with charged with 14 felony counts of voyeurism and one count of possession of child pornography.
Susan's father, Chuck Cox, will file a petition in court today to gain custody of Susan and Josh's children, according to his attorney.

Watch Video Graves, who has two children with her husband, Kirk, said she is thankful she broke off her relationship with her father years ago.
"Right now, the thing I am most grateful for is that I never let my children develop a relationship with him. I knew from the beginning there were problems and I didn't want them exposed to that," Graves said.
She said she did not know whether her brother Josh Powell -- Susan Powell's husband and the lone person of interest in her disappearance -- had seen the tapes or had similar tendencies, but would not be surprised if he did.
Steven Powell will be arraigned on the charges at 4:30 p.m. EST today.
Calls to the Powell home were not returned.
Susan Powell disappeared in 2009, while her husband allegedly took their two sons camping in the Utah desert in a freezing rain. He went to live with his father in Puyallup, Wash., with his two sons after his wife vanished.
In a related development, a judge will decide at 12:30 p.m. today whether Josh and Steven Powell are legally allowed to publicly release Susan Powell's private diaries, which they threatened to do earlier this month to prove that she was mentally unstable and could have run away with another man. Susan Powell's father, Chuck Cox, went to court to block the release of the diaries, which were written when Susan was a teen.
Following the raid on their home, both Josh Powell and his father Steve spoke to ABC News about the journals and about Steve Powell's relationship with Susan.
Steve Powell said that he and his daughter-in-law had a relationship that was "beoynd the pale, You know, father-in-law, daughter-in-law, flirting, maybe some sexual touching or whatever."
Steve Powell said that had started falling love with Susan and that the feelings were mutual.
"Really, I'm 30 years older than she is," he said. "I said, well Josh, it was Susan that came onto me. As he thought about it, and the next few months he started watching Susan more carefully, it became clear that that's how she interacted with the opposite sex."
Josh Powell denied any type of sexual relationship between his father and his wife, but admitted that his wife was a very sexual person.
Chuck Cox said Steve Powell's accusations were untrue.
"That's completely false, and it's very susprising that Steve Powell would come out with this type of accusation," he said.
