Katie's Take
Thanks for all the great feedback on our first episode of Katie's Take! It was nice to hear from so many of you, and please continue to send along your ideas for show topics or questions you'd like to see answered.
This new episode comes from an actual question I have had as a mother of two girls. At what age should you take your daughter to a gynecologist for her first visit? It's recommended that young women have their first exam by no later than 21, but what determines the right age below that? Should you take her to your doctor or help her find her own? Will an exam be conducted on the first visit, or just a consultation?
Dr. Rebecca Brightman, OB/GYN, answers those questions and more. She's knowledgeable and direct, and I hope you'll find her advice helpful.
