| 'Disoriented' passenger subdued on flight in Miami May 25th 2012, 16:46  AFP – 34 mins ago An apparently "disoriented" passenger was subdued on an American Airlines jet Friday as it was taxiing after landing in Miami International Airport, an airline spokesman said. The male passenger, who was not otherwise identified, was turned over to Miami police after he was restrained by passengers and crew at the end of a flight from Montego Bay, Jamaica, airport officials. "We had what appeared to be a 'disoriented' male passenger who stood up at his seat in the Main Cabin after landing in Miami as the flight was taxiing in," American Airlines spokesman Ed Martelle said in an email. "He did not obey crewmember instructions to sit down and then moved toward the front of the aircraft where he was subdued. He was turned over to police upon arrival at the gate," he said. About 120 passengers were aboard the Boeing 757, he said.
