1. Dregs of Isaac Could Become Tropical Storm
According to the National Hurricane Center, there is a 50 percent chance that dregs of Isaac could turn into a tropical storm. Meanwhile, Leslie is a category 1 hurricane and is forecast to hit Bermuda on Saturday night as a category 2 storm with 105 mph winds.
2. Arena Hosting DNC Put on Lockdown
The Time Warner Cable arena -- where the Democratic National Convention is being held -- was put on temporary lock down on Wednesday night when fire marshals said the building was approaching capacity. After assessing the situation, officials determined that another 1,000 people could be let in. Former President Bill Clinton later took the stage at the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night, making a passionate speech to a roused crowd.

3. Bank Robbers Strap 'Bomb' on Manager
Police spokesmen speaking at a news conference on Wednesday said that a bank robbery in Los Angeles is still an ongoing investigation. Authorities now believe that the bank manager who was kidnapped earlier that day and taken to the bank with a "bomb" strapped to her body was not in danger from the explosive.
4. Ariz. Authorities Allowed to Use 'Show me Your Papers' Provision
A federal judge has ruled that Arizona authorities are allowed to enforce the section of the state's immigration law that has been dubbed the "show me your papers" provision. U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton has ruled that while enforcing other laws police can question the immigration status of individuals they believe are in the country illegally.
5. NY Giants Lose to Dallas Cowboys
Defending Super Bowl champions the New York Giants lost 24-17 to the Dallas Cowboys in Wednesday Night's NFL season opener.
