Woman Accused of Killing Rilya Wilson to Be Tried
Nov 4th 2012, 14:10

Rilya Wilson, a foster child in Florida, disappeared more than a decade ago. Now, the woman charged with killing her is finally set to go on trial.

Jury selection begins Monday for the trial of 66-year-old Geralyn Graham. She has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and has told judges she is innocent. She faces life in prison if convicted.

Rilya's body hasn't been found. Police have no witnesses to any killing and scant physical evidence. The case is based heavily upon alleged confessions Graham made to other jail inmates that she killed Rilya and buried her near a lake.

The case drew national attention and led to major reforms of Florida's child welfare system.
