"Nightline" producer Nikki Battiste sat down with "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth this morning to talk about the upcoming film. Battiste said Hemsworth is charming, polite and surprisingly down-to-earth for a young man who is shooting to super-stardom overnight. During the interview, hundreds of screaming fans — mostly young girls — waited outside ABC News' Times Square studios for a glimpse of the latest teen heartthrob. The "Hunger Games" star, playing the character Gale, chatted about enjoying trips to New York City simply for some good pizza and his love for his hometown Melbourne, Australia.

According to the 16-year-old girl whose call logs show she was on the phone with Martin, 17, moments before he was killed, he was being hounded by a strange man on a cellphone who ran after him and confronted him.
U.S. Justice Department's Civil Rights Division and the FBI also announced overnight that they plan to open an investigation into the case.
