1. 20 Stuck on Amusement Ride for 3.5 Hours
The security system of Knott Berry Farm's WindSeeker ride in California activated on Wednesday, stranding passengers at the top of the tower approximately 300 feet in the air. About 20 riders were stuck on the ride for nearly 3 and a half hour. No injuries were reported.
2. Romney: 'Campaign About the 100 Percent'
Mitt Romney addressed the comments he made about 47 percent of American voters in the video footage that leaked of him at a Univision forum on Wednesday night. Romney said that "this campaign is about the 100 percent."

3. 400 Barges, Boats Stuck in Mississippi Rover
Several dozen tugboats and more than 400 barges are stuck in a logjam on the Mississippi River outside of St. Louis after a lock was closed over the weekend. The lock was shut down after it was discovered that part of it had split, partly as a result of this summer's drought.
4. Danish Magazine to Publish Topless Middleton Photos
A Danish magazine will publish the topless photos of Kate Middleton in their new issue. The photos have been on the Internet and in France, Italy and Ireland. A French court banned any future publication of the photos inside France.
5. NHL: All Preseason Games Cancelled Through Sept. 30
The NHL announced Wednesday that all preseason games will be cancelled through Sept. 30 as a result of the NHL lockout. All employees will work four-day weeks beginning Oct. 1.
