1. Wildfires Force 32,000 to Evacuate

The wildfires engulfing Colorado Springs have forced massive evacuations. More than 32,000 people have been forced to leave their homes. There is no timetable for their return.

2. Debby makes Landfall

Tropical Storm Debby has made landfall near Steinhatchee, Florida, in the state's northern peninsula. Coastal and inland flooding warnings are in effect in most of the state.

3. Queen, Ex-IRA Chief Plan Historic Meeting

5. Loss of a Legend

Nora Ephron, a screenwriter and director best known for "When Harry Met Sally" and "Sleepless in Seattle," died of leukemia at age 71 in a Manhattan hospital.
