1. Holder Held in Contempt of Congress

Attorney General Eric Holder became the first Cabinet member in history to be held in contempt of Congress. More than 100 Democrats boycotted the House vote in protest.

2. Obama to Visit Colorado Today

President Obama signed a disaster declaration for the state of Colorado. He surveys the Waldo Fire area today.

3. Zimmerman Seeks Release From Jail

George Zimmerman will try to convince a Florida judge to release him on bond this morning. He is currently in jail awaiting trial on a second-degree murder charge for the fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.

4. Madoff's Brother to Plead Guilty

Peter Madoff, brother of convicted Ponzi schemer Bernard Madoff, is expected to enter a guilty plea this morning to conspiracy and falsifying records. He has agreed to serve 10 years in jail.

5. Nadal out at Wimbledon

Two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal was upset on Center Court in the second round. The number 2 seeded Nadal was beated by the 100th seed, Czech Lukas Rosol.
