Authorities say four people are dead following a fiery crash on Phoenix's outskirts.
Maricopa County Sheriff's spokesman Chris Hegstrom says an SUV struck the rear end of a sedan Saturday afternoon near the suburban community of Buckeye, just west of Phoenix.
The spokesman tells the Arizona Republic ( http://bit.ly/LaBzJ8 ) that the sedan caught on fire and the driver and three passengers were killed.
The driver of the SUV was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
No other details on the crash on Maricopa County Road 85 near Airport Road were immediately available. No names were released.
