Lamb of God front man Randy Blythe could face manslaughter charges in Prague over the death of a fan at a concert, according to reports.

The heavy metal vocalist was reportedly taken into custody for an investigation June 27, according to statement from the band's publicist, which was posted by @LambofGodNews.

Blythe, 41, is accused of causing injuries that led to a fan's death in 2010, according to reports. There were conflicting reports on whether he has been charged in the case.

"Under no circumstances was there a fight of any kind involved," the band's publicist wrote. "This incident deals with a fan that three times during the concert jumped the barricade and rushed Randy during the performance. It is alleged that the third time, security was not able to reach him and that Randy pushed him back into the audience where supposedly he fell and hit his head."

The charge is bodily injury resulting in death, and it carries a five to 10 year prison sentence, according to Novinky.cz, a Czech news website that ABCNews.com translated using Google Translate.

Blythe posted bail and was released on Saturday, prompting the official @LambofGod twitter account to tweet, "RANDY IS [bleepin'] FREE !"

ABCNews.com spoke to band manager Larry Mazer, who said he would have more information Tuesday.

Guitarist and band mate Mark Morton tweeted that he was back home â€" presumably in Virginia, where the band hails from.

"I can't wait to give Randy a big bear hug & kiss his pointy, stubbly face!" Morton tweeted.

The band was in Prague for a Thursday concert, which it canceled after Blythe's arrest.
