Aug 30th 2012, 13:23

A pretrial hearing is set to continue for a third day for an Army private accused of handing over hundreds of thousands of classified documents to the website WikiLeaks.

Pfc. Bradley Manning returns Thursday to a military courtroom in Fort Meade, Md.

The 24-year-old Manning faces a possible life sentence for the disclosures. A trial is expected next year.

This is the final day this week that arguments will be heard. A judge is expected to rule Thursday on whether prosecutors can use prior acts of misconduct as evidence against Manning.

Manning is being held in Fort Leavenworth, Kan.
