Gunfire Audible in Sikh Temple Shooting 911 Tapes Aug 15th 2012, 17:39 Gunfire can be heard on recordings of 911 calls from the shooting that killed six worshippers at a Sikh (seek) temple in suburban Milwaukee. Milwaukee County authorities on Wednesday released tapes from the Aug. 5 shooting at the Sikh Temple of Wisconsin in Oak Creek. One man calls and reports the address of the temple. As he says, "There's a shooting," the sound of gunfire can be heard in the background. Another woman calls to report hearing gunfire and seeing someone shot. The call gets disconnected, and the dispatcher calls back twice with no luck. At one point, with phones ringing nonstop, a dispatcher says, "Oh my god." White supremacist Wade Michael Page opened fire at the temple before shooting himself in the head after being wounded by an officer.
