1. Director Tony Scott Dies After Jumping off Bridge
Famed film director Tony Scott has jumped to his death from a bridge in San Pedro, Calif. on Sunday. The British director is known for Hollywood blockbusters like "Top Gun," and "Beverly Hills Cop II." He was 68.
2. Calif. Wildfire Forces Evacuations
Thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes on Sunday as a wildfire burning in a forest threatened rural communities in Northern California. The fire started around 11:30 a.m. on Saturday and has consumed nearly 19 square miles, threatening about 3,500 homes in the area.

3. Aerial Spraying for West Nile Virus Resumes in Dallas
Dallas County officials say planes spraying aerial pesticides to battle an outbreak of West Nile virus has resumed over parts of the area that have not yet been sprayed. Five planes will spray a second coat on Monday night. Officials say traps in areas treated with pesticides now have fewer mosquitoes.
4. John Lennon's Killer Up for Parole
Mark David Chapman, the man who shot and killed John Lennon 32 years ago could have his seventh parole hearing as early as Tuesday. He has requested parole every two years since 2000.
5. Lettuce Recalled Over E. Coli Fears
A produce supplier in Northern California is recalling romaine lettuce for possible E. coli contamination. Tanimura & Antle recalled its Field Fresh Wrapped Single Head Romaine, that was shipped to 19 states, as well as Puerto Rico and Canada.
