It turns out the real-life Walter White, wanted in Alabama for a meth-related charge, wasn't running from the law after all.

The Tuscaloosa News reports (http://bit.ly/NQJhKy) the man who shares a name with the fictional meth dealer from the AMC television show "Breaking Bad" was found in an inpatient treatment facility. Tuscaloosa County sheriff's Sgt. Andy Norris says deputies confirmed a tip Friday that White, 55, had a court order from another jurisdiction to get treatment.

White has a 2008 conviction for manufacturing methamphetamine and was placed on the sheriff's most-wanted list for his arrest on similar charges in Bibb County this year.

The fictional Walter White, played by Emmy-winner Bryan Cranston, is a chemistry teacher who cooks meth to support his family after he's diagnosed with terminal cancer.
